Hello,

Penn State Extension and DCNR Urban Forestry staff is doing a day-long tree care training in Lancaster on May 1. This training will cover most of the same topics as the Tree Tender training, but it is geared specifically to professionals – municipal staff, groundskeepers, facilities managers for organizations like non-profits, parks, schools, etc. with the goal to improve tree care practices and provide good examples that others can learn from. Training is free and lunch is provided. I know it may not be the ideal time for this at the start of the growing season, but we will do our best to provide useful information to attendees making it worth their time.
