The Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture will be hosting two workforce related sessions at the 2026 Farm Show. The first session will focus on
the resources and opportunities for new and beginning farmers including time for one-on-one consultation with service providers and experts in the field. Session two will dive into ag tech and innovation and
how new technologies can help address workforce needs in the industry.
These sessions will allow attendees to connect with industry experts and gain concrete resources and support. Both sessions will provide strategies and resources to help address common barriers and challenges to those new in the ag industry and/or those interested in bringing technology and innovation into their operations and workforce.
The sessions will take place in the Erie Room of the Farm Show Complex on Tuesday, January 13th from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm. More details on the specific sessions can be found below and attached.
