Hi folks,
The Horn Farm Center in York, PA, is thrilled to announce that this fall, we’ll be hosting a one-time educational experience with Dave Jacke–ecological design expert and author of the two-volume book Edible Forest Gardens.
Friday, October 16 to Sunday, October 25, 2026, Jacke will lead a 9-day Forest Garden Design Intensive. Learn more at hornfarmcenter.org/fgdi/
This course will dig deep into the ecological design process, equipping participants with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to create thriving, productive polycultures that mimic forest structure and function. While this course welcomes anyone eager to deepen their relationship with the land and food, it may appeal most to landowners and farmers, landscape architects, and community change-makers both urban and rural. No special background knowledge is required to join.
