Did you know that when you pick up the phone and call a Congress person’s office, that really changes their perception of an issue? It actually makes a difference! And now is the time to put in a good word for the Rural Cooperative Development Grant. This funding has been around since 1999 – as long as KDC – and has allowed us to work with over 470 businesses in our region. Without this funding, KDC will be hard-pressed to continue to serve rural residents who are seeking help. Congress has already appropriated the money for 2026 – but the notice of funding availability, that would let us apply for the grant, is stuck at the Office of Management and Budget.

Please call your Representative and Senators today and tell them: Call on OMB to release the RCDG Notice of Funding Availability!
