Mar 13 deadline for Specialty Crop Support

Hi all - 

While we await further details on how to apply - it is very important that farmers have updated acreage figures filed with FSA - that deadline is March 13th. 

If the specialty crop relief looks like MASC payments from last year, then I know that many of our folks will want to apply. 

Other info below:

USDA announced some preliminary details about how the $1billion in Farmer Bridge Assistance funds dedicated for specialty crops will be distributed. The only information provided as of now is:

1. The list of crops that will be eligible for the program (included in the press release linked above).
2. Acreage reporting for these crops must be up-to-date for 2025 planted acres and on file with FSA by March 13th.
