Hello, I'm writing to share an announcement from the Pennsylvania Nut Growers Association:

The Pennsylvania Nut Growers Association (PNGA) is producing an updated version of a popular hand-operated nutcracker known as the Master Nutcracker. Upon learning that the original inventor Mr. Gerald Gardner had ceased production of the Master Nutcracker, PNGA began this effort as part of its mission to popularize our native nuts and with permission from Mr. Gardener. The PNGA Master Nutcracker replicates the original design with slight modifications to enable cracking of larger walnuts. These nutcrackers will be manufactured in Pennsylvania using quality metals and featuring hardwood bases.

PNGA is now accepting nutcracker pre-orders for fully assembled units for $100 until August 1. Fully assembled units will cost $120 after Aug 1. All funds raised will go to PNGA education and outreach about tree nuts. For more information and to download the order form, please view this article from PNGA's June 2025 newsletter.

You are welcome to forward this announcement and newsletter article along.

Thank you, and best wishes,
Robbie
PNGA vice president
