Title: Small Farmers, Big Voices: Funding Farmers, Fueling Change
Where farmers come together for funding, advocacy, and action.

Event Date: October 28, 2025
Time: 6:00 PM - 8 PM EDT
Format: Virtual Summit (with nationwide watch parties)
Audience: Small family farmers, advocates, policymakers, and community partners

Agenda:
6:00 PM-6:50 PM content: 3 farmers, regulatory specialists, and a nutrient density expert will share content regarding best practices. The remaining time is open discussion with guided questions to help.

Who Should Register
If you’re a small farmer, this is an opportunity to have your voice heard in the national conversation about access to food, funding to support small and medium and urban farmers, and ensuring farmers do not drown in regulations and certifications. Advocates, community leaders, and policymakers who care about the future of farming and healthy communities should also add their voices of experience. This summit is designed to bring together those who grow our food with those who shape the systems around it—because we can’t build resilient communities without putting farmers at the center.

Why This Event Matters
Farmers are facing shrinking margins, rising compliance costs, and programs that too often, States agencies route funding through food banks instead of directly to the people producing the food and working directly with the people receiving the food. This event tackles that reality head-on.

What to Expect
This is not a lecture—it’s an interactive summit. Expect to hear real stories from farmers, review policy updates that directly affect your livelihood, and have opportunities to contribute your perspective in open discussions. Most importantly, you’ll leave with concrete next steps: from signing on to an advocacy letter demanding fair compensation, to learning practical strategies for connecting your farm to stable markets.

My new part-time hours! This growing season, I will be dividing my time between my Pasa position and my veggie farm. Thank you for your patience, if my email response times are a little slower than usual.
