Seed Farm and Office Assistant (1 part-time position) 

Hours/week: 28 hours per week

Pay: $20/hour 

Starts: February 23rd, 2026

Schedule: 7 hour shifts, Monday through Thursday, with paid 1 hour lunch. Occasional extra paid shifts on Fridays or Saturdays available during busy planting and shipping weeks. 

Office: 100 E Rittenhouse Street, Philadelphia, PA 

Farm: 8500 Hagys Mill Road, Philadelphia, PA 

Greenhouse: Saul Agricultural High School, 7100 Henry Avenue, Philadelphia, PA

Reliable transportation and ability to bring packages to the post office required.

This position is best suited for someone with two years or more of agriculture experience who is passionate about seeds and interested in gaining on-the-job experience at our seed production farm as well as in the seed room and office.

This position includes the opportunity to use work hours on the farm to become certified through the Pasa Sustainable Agriculture Diversified Vegetable Pre-Apprenticeship or Apprenticeship program, depending on your previous experience. This also expands your learning opportunities with free workshops and conferences throughout Pennsylvania.
