Native plant nursery directory in PA

Hello,

 

PA DCNR hosts a webpage listing native plant nurseries, Where to Buy Native Plants, and as part of updates to that page, we are offering an easier way for Pennsylvanian nurseries to be included in this listing.

 

Native plant nurseries with an address in Pennsylvania can respond to our native nursery questionnaire at https://forms.cloud.microsoft/g/CgBX757Q9j This is an ongoing survey, and we hope to update this webpage later in the year using responses received so far. After that, the webpage will be updated to include new responses on an ongoing basis (such as semi-annual).

 

As part of this survey, we are asking if nurseries specialize in cultivars (or "nativars") bred for provisions. For example, cultivar varieties bred for a specific purpose such as producing goods for harvest like food, fiber, fodder, fuel, woody cut florals, and herbal medicines. This criteria is intended to help land stewards in Pennsylvania source plants for agroforestry practices.
