getting food systems grants funded

Hello,

My name is Dana Ollendyke with Penn State Extension. I am working with Heather Manzo and Maureen Hogan from the Pittsburgh branch of Penn State Extension. 

We are currently doing research on getting federal grants funded. To do so, we are looking for local entities who might have applied for federal food systems grants. 

 

Applying for a federal grant is not an easy endeavor! Have you ever applied for, or wanted to apply for a federal grant related to food systems or nutrition?

 

We’d like to understand how to help businesses and organizations in Pennsylvania increase the number of competitive applications submitted for these grants. We’d like to hear about your successes and challenges experienced when applying for federal food system or nutrition grants. Your responses are valuable even if you or your organization have never applied, or been awarded.

 

Your answers will be kept completely confidential by The Penn State Center Pittsburgh and will be released only as summaries in which no individual’s answers can be identified.
