Information below on a google meeting hosted by the Bloomington Environmental Commission. The topic will be habitat connectivity between neighborhoods re. plants, invasives, wildlife, etc.

Background: 

 

Dear Neighborhood Associations points of contact, 

The Bloomington Environmental Commission is emailing you today in regard to the Bloomington Habitat Connectivity Plan. Your neighborhood has been identified as an area of linkage between two high quality areas of greenspace in Bloomington. By enacting this plan we hope to connect populations of wildlife and plant species across the city. On Sunday, February 6th at 4PM the Environmental Commission will be presenting this plan to the Neighborhood Associations points of contact over Zoom. During this meeting we will discuss with you all the steps needed for the area that you live in to become a contributor to a healthy ecosystem. We hope that as a point of contact for your Neighborhood Association, you will be able to attend our meeting and distribute the information accordingly. You are welcome to invite other members of your neighborhood as well. If you are interested in attending this meeting, please reply to this email with your name and the neighborhood in which you belong.
