In lieu of our normal monthly project update, we have a new product announcement!
Engineers at Pants for Birds have been working on a new product since the beginning of 2026, and it's finally time to let the cat bee out of the bag. ADSBee Winglet is a new tri-band electronic flight bag receiver based on the ADSBee 1090U architecture. Winglet is launching via Kickstarter on July 15; sign up for our interest and announcement list here to be the first to know!

This month, the Pants for Birds team will be at Open Sauce in San Francisco, and EAA Airventure in Oshkosh, WI! Hope to see some of you there :)
P.S. In normal "monthly update" land, we released ADSBee firmware version 0.9.0 stable last month, but it's exactly the same as 0.9.0-rc19--so there isn't much to report there other than, yay, we're finally on a stable version!
