Pack 65, Congratulations again to our AOL Scouts!  I know you’ll all have a great time with the Troop. Thank you to all of the families who supported our BBQ; whether it was cooking, cleaning, selling, or spreading the word. Up next in our month of Scouting? Pinewood Derby!!!! Pinewood Derby Once again we’ll be using the Mecklenburg County Council rules: https://www.mccscouting.org/files/55198/2025-Pinewood-Derby-Rules On Friday 3/27 starting at 6 PM we will have our weigh-in as well as our Blue and Gold party to celebrate the birthday of Scouting.  Come on out and enjoy pizza, marvel at the amazing racecars, and watch a movie with your Scout friends. Pinewood Derby will be Saturday 3/28 starting at 10 AM in the Kerr building.  Here’s our tentative schedule: 10:00 Bears 10:40 Lions 11:00 Tigers 11:40 Wolves 11:50 Webelos 12:30 AOLs  1:00 Champions 1:15 Outlaw Reminder for the Outlaw race there will be two categories. We will have a powered and non-powered race.  The powered race will allow anything that is not flammable as a driving force.  The non-powered race will be for gravity-based racers. The limits for length and width will apply for either race due to the track size and timing equipment. If you have questions please let us know! Summer Camp!!! These discount cards are great a way to raise funds for Scout trips and summer camp. These cards include hundreds of dollars in discounts and sell for just $10, making it an easy sell to friends, families, co-workers and more. For each camp card a Scout sells, $5 will go into the Scout's account to help pay for any Scout related activities. If you are interested in selling, please see Mr. Shaun to get as many cards as you need. The money from your card sales and any unsold cards must be turned in by April 20th.
