Friendly Reminder: Volunteer for Pacific Invite Regatta This Saturday

Hi Everyone,
A quick reminder that the 2026 Pacific Invite Regatta is this Saturday, March 7 at Lake Merced, and we are still looking for a few more volunteers to help make the event run smoothly.
Regattas like this rely on the support of our community — parents, juniors, masters, alumni, board members, friends, and visiting teams — and volunteering is one of the best ways to be part of the action and support the athletes racing.
Many of the roles place you right next to the racing and are fun, active, and easy to learn. No prior experience is required, and our team will ensure everyone feels comfortable and prepared.

We are also asking visiting teams to consider providing 1–3 volunteers to help support the shared success of the event.
Volunteer Training Opportunities
Optional training sessions are available this week:
On-Water Volunteer Training
Tuesday, March 3 (tonight)
7:30 – 8:30 PM
On-Land Volunteer Training
Wednesday, March 4
7:30 – 8:30 PM
You will receive a calendar invitation after signing up.
Event Day Check-In
All volunteers should check in at the Volunteer Tent when they arrive to receive:
- A Pacific Invite Volunteer Shirt
- Your role assignment
- A radio (if needed)
- Instructions and materials
- And a chance to meet PRC Boathouse Dog Indy 🐾
Your time and support help create a safe, organized, and exciting racing experience for hundreds of athletes, and we truly appreciate everyone who steps forward to help.
