Green light; we are excited to be back at Aquatic Park this Saturday morning. The forecast looks good with light wind and clear skies are expected! Water temperature will be in the mid-high 50’s. Conditions are shaping up to be as good as we can hope for in May!

We will set up on the north end of the beach, near Van Ness parking, and in front of the Maritime Museum.

Please dress warm and bring extra dry towels and clothing. Bring your equipment bag so you can participate fully in our group kick which we traditionally start every training with. There will be hot chocolate to share, please bring a hot mug from home.

Schedule- Bring your equipment bag!

  • Coach-lead dryland workout from 9:15-9:30, get hot before entering the water!

  • Water Safety team meeting 9:15-9:30- any parents interested in paddling prone or stand-up, please make it a point to attend this meeting and more other parents interested in keeping our swimmers safe and showing Pacific and USA swimming that the Pennisula is serious about producing open water opportunities for our swimmers!

  • 9:30-9:50 Kickset (swimmers are invited to use equipment where necessary, refer to coach)

  • 9:55 -10:20- “The Bouy" race out-and-back 25 minute swim with beach start. How far can you go! All swimmers
