June 29 Wrap-up

[Open Water]

Way to go Swimmers! 

14 swimmers from 3 clubs swam in breezy but sunny conditions this past Saturday, for our 2nd Aquatic Park training of the season! If anyone has any pictures from June 29, please add them to the album, or send them along.

We will be meeting again on July 20 at Aquatic Park.

Western Zone Champs

As summer speeds up and then evaporates into August, Coaches are busy doing initial planning to travel to San Diego on Sept 27 to participate in Western Zone Open Water Champs. Mark you calendars! This is for qualifiers only. We are trying to plan a mini swim meet before the entry deadline, for last chance qualifiers, TBA. 

Donner Lake
Vacationing in the Tahoe/Donner area July 15 and your swimmer needs a workout? Come swim with Us! Northern Nevada Aquatics and PSL are training together at Donner Lake on Monday July 15.

NNA is also hosting a USAS sanctioned open water race at Donner Lake on Sunday, August 11th. More info to come.
