Hi Keith,

The ' OWASP Secure Coding Practices Project' working session has been created and is ready for your input. Please add the information here:

http://www.owasp.org/index.php/Summit_2011_Working_Sessions/Session200.

If you could let me know once everything is done, that would be great! If you find the template difficult to edit please do not hesitate and send me the contents off and I will do it myself.

For your reference, the below are the elements that are being required:

- Clear Description of the WS;

- Chair of the WS;

- Clear and detailed objectives;

- Working session additional details (note that you can use both the link on the ws wiki page and the 'Discussion' page for this purpose if you like);

- Concise and feasible Outcomes/Deliverables (these should be concrete proposals for action to be presented for approval to the Board in the Summit; for some examples, please take a look at the ones that have been recently added as per Jeff's request).

Many thanks,

- Paulo

Keith - I am forwarding your message on to Paulo and Sandra as they are now the working session gurus who are getting everything organized and finalized for the Summit.  They should be able to assist you with your request.

Regards,
Sarah

Sarah

I had been talking with Matt about activities at the Summit, but due to his family situation he has asked that I contact you.

Matt and I had talked about having me do a presentation on my project, since it is the newest release project. He asked me to check with you about scheduling.

Matt also wanted me to talk to the other document project leaders about coming up with unified structure, vocabulary and numbering schema. Matt suggested a working session in one of the tracks to kick this off.

I know this is very late in the process and I don't know how much Matt has brought up related to these items already.

What are your thoughts?

Keith,

No worries.

You should email Sarah Baso (sarah...@owasp.org) to make sure the
working session is on the wiki and see if there's anything else you need
to do to make it happen.

My wife's grandfather passed away last week and taking time off for the
funeral + all the Summit activity has pretty much DOS'ed me completely.

Matt's Response:

Thanks for the resend - things have been crazy here - lots of work
 (which is good) but personal stuff too like funeral plans this week
 (which is not so good).

I always figured it would be a working session in one of the tracks
- maybe the OWASP or Individual OWASP Projects track.  I expect a
workshop is the best way to round up the needed players and
interested parties to provide input.

Sorry I've been so busy - between Summit stuff, being double booked
at work and some personal stuff, life has been crazy.

I think I'm only single booked starting next week (yippie!)
