We having a social and planning chapter meeting Nov 12th and will try a change of venue.  Please bring your App Sec stories, conundrums, App Sec related questions, or just come to chat.   The chapter will pay for appetizers for everyone to share.   We’re also looking for suggestions for presentation or other activities. One question to consider: Would it be beneficial to have a meeting with 2 or 3 short brief presentations. Maybe local members could present briefly on a problem solved or an enhancement made.

Here's a reminder that our OWASP meeting is this Tuesday at Sticky Lips BBQ.  Looking for presentation topics, ideas for meetings, and discussion on any application security topic or issue you might have.  Here's some exciting news to share!  Jim Keeler is working on possibly getting a Secure Code Warrior Tournament to happen here in Rochester.  It needs a fair amount of planing.  So it will likely wait until Jan or later if we can pull it off.  Here's the website https://securecodewarrior.com, sounds like a really fun and interesting way to learn secure development.
