September Agenda ready for review

Hi Board,

Apologies for the delay in posting this update, but a huge thank you to Sam for finalizing the minutes while unwell. Hopefully, he will be feeling well enough to attend Tuesday's call.

The September Board Meeting Agenda and reading materials are ready for review. When I return to work tomorrow, I'll update some of the statistics, primarily the membership numbers and ticket statistics, so you have the latest before the meeting.

I'm still waiting for Gesmer's written response. I will send you this when I receive it, which I hope is before the meeting. They are still scheduled to appear to answer your questions on this topic. If I don't have the final written advice before the meeting, I will post their partial advice to the private Board list so that we have some context to work from.

Appreciate you getting this out as soon as possible.  Sam, hope you feel better soon!

Reviewing the previous minutes, I see that we tabled two discussions:

1. Motion to approve the OWASP Chapter Committee Charter

2. Motion to table the OWASP Chapter Committee Charter

and two discussions: 

Proposed additions (time permitting):

• Discussion on forming an Audit Committee (sponsored by Ricardo)
• Discussion on the Project Summit (sponsored by Sam)

We should be able to accommodate some of these on Tuesday.

Regarding the Chapter Committee charter, we had tabled it until further notice, when the new committee officers will rewrite it and update it accordingly.

 

Aside from that, unfortunately I will not be able to attend this month's meeting, I did not realize it was scheduled over the holiday here (Rosh Hashana).

I will catch up on the recordings after.
