Great CEN/CENELEC PR

Hi board,

Who of you can I ask CEN/CENELEC to reach out to for a quote on behalf of OWASP with views, hopes, and expectations regarding the CEN/CENELEC partnership with OWASP?

This person will be Anna Wynn. She will publish on this partnership on their website and socials, with me providing background info and doing review. She'll also need a logo to make a visual.

It's F A N T A S T I C exposure for OWASP. They normally don't do this, but I managed to show them this is really cool.

Some inspiration: this partnership provides OWASP with the opportunity to further democratize the development of international standards and to allow the community of 8,000 OWASP member to share their expertise. Or something like that. Fulfill OWASP's mission to power secure software.

Also on my list is writing a blog post about thepartnership at the OWASP website.

If you are looking for an official OWASP Foundation representative who can make a statement on behalf of the OWASP Foundation I believe that would be OWASP's Executive Director Andrew van der Stock @Andrew van der Stock 

Can you please contact Andrew and aslk for his official quote on CEN/CENELEC partnership with OWASP and the importance of yet another OWASP project becoming a European (and an International) Standard.

I have been trying for more than a month now to get a short quote from OWASP on the CEN/CENELEC partnership without success.

This is an unnecessary frustrating process. What's going on?

I noticed that Rob has been trying to get a short quote from OWASP regarding the CEN/CENELEC partnership and seems quite frustrated by the delay. I think the partnership is significant, it might be helpful for us to provide a statement.
