Hi!
I just wanted to provide a few quick updates:
* OWASP APPSEC BARCELONA meetup
We had a brief open meeting at OWASP AppSec Barcelona last week with around 30 people attending, despite the last-minute addition to the schedule. Many also approached me in the hallways, discussing the urgency and need to move forward as well as discussing requirements. There are many people engaged in making sure we have a freely accessible worldwide platform.
* Project group first meeting:
We will try to have a first meeting with the group that will coordinate the work going forward today. People are busy so it’s hard to schedule, but we have to find a regular project group meeting time going forward. The project groups consists of members from the organisations that support the project. We are continously trying to reach out to new organisations to widen the group of stakeholders in this work.
* Open Meetings are being planned
These will be scheduled either early morning Europe time to work for EMEA and Asia/Oceania or late afternoon Europe time to work for EMEA and Americas.
The idea with the open meetings will be to have a 20 minute talk, updates from the project and then an open discussion. As we move forward, there will be additional meetings to work on the technical requirements for the platform.
