Discussions/Action Items:
We will have monthly follow-up meeting (30 mins), first Sunday of each month at 6 PM CLT (our next meeting will be 7th of March)
We will plan for an event introducing OWASP projects. We will target students preparing for their graduation project and also postgraduates’ students. This will be the main event this year and planned to be conducted in September.
Our chapter to participate in the new chapter policies review, at the end of the email you will find the link for a shared document for chapters policy.
Create an open “Signal App” community group for Cairo chapter [Saafan to create and share the links, Next week].
Planning for next year event for Juniors [Fateh to contact ITI junior Academy to have proper event planning, Beginning of April].
Scheduling an online call with Andrew van der to discuss the possibility for collaboration between the chapter and the local NGOs [Fateh, First week of March].
Hassan Mourad to share online sheet with the list of the NGOs and others entities so we can plan for how we coordinate with the chapter members who are ready to support the community
Discuss the possibility to host OWASP AppSec Africa or the Middle east. Fateh to discuss the topic with the chapter leaders, During February].
Rotation for managing the chapter’s social media account. [Fady to give access for chapter twitter account for Saafan, Next week]
Planning for the events with ITI [I have contacted ITI and confirmed the dates for two events on Feb and March]
Coordinate with Egypt CERT [Fateh to discuss the possibility to participate in Egypt CERT’s Awareness program, March]
Activate the Africa leaders mailing list [Tickets have been opened, Fateh to follow up].

1. Schedule all planned the monthly follow-up meetings.
2. Schedule minimum of 90% of the planned events in Y2021
3. Add minimum 300 subscription to our mailing list
4. Running minimum three events with ITI
