TALK

Insiders Guide to Mobile AppSec with OWASP MASVS

Summary:

Faster feedback loops: test every build every day for immediate feedback on new code written; no more waiting for late stage manual testing that can cause you to miss release dates due to surprises.

Faster mean time to repair (MTTR): 4 ways with full fix details in issue tickets so you don’t waste time hunting for issue, don’t waste time with false positives and instead pinpoint the issue and have fix instructions/links/code right there.
Reduced defect escape rates (DER): breadth of 600 tests mean you catch more and fix before release

Faster release cycles/More predictable release cycles: continuous security testing of each build; no more waiting for late stage manual testing that can cause you to miss release dates due to surprises.

Fast return on investment: no new tools to deploy to dev desktops (uses existing tools and workflows) with highly effective tickets with all the info need to fix fast
