Adding datasource - Could not initialize class com.microsoft.jdbc.sqlserver.SQLServerDriver

Just download CommandBox 2.0 and tried to create a datasource to SQL server and got the following error.. 

Could not initialize class com.microsoft.jdbc.sqlserver.SQLServerDriver

Any idea?

My first guess is that the MS JDBC driver doesn't come with the Lucee CLI.  You can check the .CommandBox/lib folder and see if it's there.  Then try adding it to see if that fixes it.

 

Is there a longer error message you can provide with a stack trace?  It could also be some other Java error.  Check the .CommandBox/logs log file as well as your server log file "server log".
