Starting December 11th, (tomorrow), LiveLox will no longer be able to upload GPS tracks from Strava.
Read more about it from LiveLox here.
Uploading via Strava was useful for orienteers who used Apple watches. Because of this change, adding GPS tracks from Apple devices will be more difficult. Strava has told me they are working to see if they can upload directly from Apple devices. But, with Apple not being open to sharing their data outside of their operating system, I don't see direct uploads with Apple devices being available any time soon.
There is a potential workaround for Apple and Strava users. The app Rungap
https://www.rungap.com/ can be used. Apple and Strava users should be able to connect their Apple watch or Strava account to Rungap. Then link Garmin Connect to Rungap. From there, LiveLox will be able to automatically upload routes from Garmin Connect. This hasn't been tried by many users yet, so if anyone does try this method, then I would appreciate you letting me know how it works. Although this is more steps than normal, this may be the only way Apple and Strava users can automatically upload routes to LiveLox.
