Last Call for Data Base Design Team Volunteers

Are you interested in being on a team of volunteers to help design and test the new Sport:80 platform?
No special knowledge is required. If you have ever registered for anything online or on your phone, you are already qualified!
Your main job will be to test new features, invent orienteers and families of orienteers, give feedback on layout, ease of use, missing fields, confusing instructions, and other mundane tasks. I'm hoping some of it will be interesting and exciting, but I expect much will be fairly routine.
Keep in mind that the plan is for the OUSA database to translate to easy adoption by all of the member clubs. Since each club has its own structure and viewpoint, having a variety of opinions will strengthen the final product.
Sport:80’s process is to build components piece by piece. They have been through this with a variety of sport governing bodies, so they know their process works. Each week, a new section will be sent to our team for comments, improvements, testing, and changes. Components will include membership data, payments, renewals, event registration, etc. They expect the entire process to take 6 months.
With the size of the group, I don’t expect everyone to be available every week. You only need to commit to a couple hours a week for 2 or 3 weeks each month. I know each of us will have weeks that we just can’t find the time. You can easily skip a week or two, but try not to miss more than two weeks in a row. And if you need to drop out at some point, just tell me.
You may already be a club volunteer, have tech skills, or just have a little extra time. I promise to try to make the process work for you and the time you have available.
And you are welcome to lurk in the background until an area comes up that you are especially interested in - volunteer management, event management, gear sales, member communications (email, newsletters, chat), team management, integration with other apps, or anything else you think we need to have as a feature.
