World Cup Final awaits in Switzerland next week
Who will win the 2025 Orienteering World Cup titles?That's decided when the World Cup Final is held from 26-28 September in Uster, Switzerland with three sprint races.After the European Championships in Belgium in August, the World Cup standings are led by the defending women’s champion, Simona Aebersold
(SUI), while Max Peter Bejmer (SWE) held on to his first place among the men.Uster offers fast and flat terrain with some climbs along the way and will host a Sprint (Friday), a Sprint Relay (Saturday) and a Knock-Out Sprint to round off on Sunday.The World Cup races can, as always, be followed via high-quality TV productions on IOF TV, as well as being broadcast on a number of national broadcasters in Switzerland, Swedena and Finland as well as langrenn.com for Norwegian customers.

IOF introduces interim heat policy
The IOF Council has decided to introduce an interim heat policy that comes into effect immediately for all IOF events covered by IOF Competition Rules with expected winning times of 20 minutes or greater.The interim policy has been developed by IOF Medical Experts and contains guidelines to ensure that competitions are not held in weather conditions that may be dangerous to competitors, officials or spectators.
