Missoula College and CyberMontana are teaming up to host a Cybersecurity camp this summer.

 

Highlights:

  • No prior cybersecurity experience required
  • Weeklong in-person camp July 14-18 (40 hours); additional activities in June, August, and October (25 hours) are online sessions that include independent work
  • Materials prepare participants to develop lesson plans to incorporate cybersecurity topics into existing curricula
  • Materials prepare participants to teach MTDA Cybersecurity course
  • $1000 stipend for participation
  • Mileage, hotel, and per-diem paid by CyberMontana for those attending from outside the Missoula area
  • 65 hours of OPI professional development units
  • Optional 4-credit graduate credit from UM
  • Optional TestOut Security Pro online test preparation for CompTIA Security+ certification
  • Optional voucher for CompTIA Security+ certification exam
