Just a reminder that in addition to everything else going on during this busy week, National Chapter Awards (both Form I & Form II) are due Sunday, March 1st by midnight. These are submitted through the Degree & Application Manager in AET just like State Degrees, etc.
I know that the full National Chapter Award (Form II) can be a lot to wrangle this time of year, but I would really encourage everyone to at least fill out the first part of the application (Form I). This is basically just a checklist of the same NQPS Standards that you use for the Advancing Ag application every other year, and a short description for 15 different activities that your chapter does throughout the year that meet those quality standards.
I think that just about everyone is already doing those things anyway, and you deserve recognition for it! Filling out and submitting Form I only takes a few minutes, and your FFA chapter receives recognition as a State Superior Chapter at Convention, which is a nice award to take home and share with your local media, school board, and other stakeholders. It sounds really impressive and will make a great headline in your local paper!
