I'm tired of struggling with my crappy little metal cut off saw and ready to invest in something nicer... does anyone have a metal cut off saw or stationed band saw that you love? We build quite a few projects so being able to cut angles accurately would be nice plus we hadn cut all our coupons for welding so we cut a lot.

With advanced opportunities and/or perkins I'd like to spend a little money to have better options. I'm looking at the Grainger website and there's some decent stuff there. But share any brand and where you got it if you have something you like!

I think the Ellis band saws are nice, but we've had great luck with an Evolution cold cut S14. Night and day difference compared to our abrasive chop saw. We got ours from Acme, but there are plenty of places that sell them for ~$1000. It's $1,113 on Grainger at the moment.

We have an Ellis bandsaw and just love it. We use it every day for hours at a time.
