If you our any of your program graduates are looking for summer employment, Montana Farmers Union is hiring for the 2026 Summer Camps. We are still looking for Male camp counselors, a camp cook, and an assistant cook.

We are still accepting registration for our camp sessions including AG for CLASROOM TEACHERS!

MFU's free Teacher Camp offers real-world ag lessons, 18 OPI credits

Montana teachers can earn 18 OPI renewal credits and learn how to better integrate agriculture into everyday classroom lessons during Montana Farmers Union's free Teacher Camp this summer.

This is the second annual Teacher Camp to be held at Camp Arrowpeak in the Highwood Mountains, running from 3 p.m., July 21, through noon, July 23.

Teachers will leave the intensive program better equipped to teach agriculture-based lessons with lesson plans and a take-home box of materials and equipment needed to conduct the lessons they do themselves during the camp in their own classrooms. Topics will be different than last year's lessons, so teachers can attend multiple years and expect new lesson plans and materials. Activities and lessons will be focused on hands-on, experiential learning and targeted toward grades K-6 to incorporate real-world agriculture into the classroom. Middle and high school science and agriculture teachers will also find the projects and activities useful, with information about modification and scaffolding for varying abilities and levels.

Lodging and Montana-sourced meals are included. The registration fee of $75 to hold a spot is refundable at check-in.
