With state convention now in the rearview mirror, I wanted to remind everyone about the second (and final) deadline for American Degree applications; Friday, May 15.  We were pleased to accept and approve 36 applications during the early deadline period.  Those applications are now being reviewed at the national level with the opportunity for corrections (if necessary).  Applications submitted by May 15 will receive state level review and an opportunity to correct issues identified by the state, but no national level review.  These applications are subject to accept/reject status only at the national level.

Currently we have one application submitted for the second deadline (Clancy Seltzer, Beaverhead).  If you have eligible former students, please work with them to submit their application in AET no later than May 15 and the earlier, the better.  The MAAE appointed committee of myself, Kyle Senner, Casey Willmore, Kellan Standley, and John Park will review and provide feedback on all applications submitted by May 15.  Feel free to reach out to any committee member with questions.

Reminder, this Friday, May 15 is the deadline to submit American FFA Degrees for state level review for the 2026 award year.  Applications submitted for this second deadline will receive a full state review with the opportunity for corrections, but no national level review with corrections.  Applications submitted for the second deadline only receive a accept or reject status at the national level.

Currently, we have received two applications during this second deadline period.  Clancy Setzer, Beaverhead and Haylee Summers, Stevensville have both been reviewed at the state level and have been submitted by Mr. Rose to National FFA.

If you have a former student working on their American Degree or thinking about applying in 2026, please make sure they have it submitted online by this Friday, May 15.
