Livestock Judging Camps

A couple good judging opportunities I would strongly encourage:

1. Northwest College is hosting their inaugural camp on May 16th 

It is a one day camp in Powell, WY. Northwest College has been in Montana recently including helping with officials and reasons at NILE, Cowtown Expo, and State Convention. Poster attached. Register here: Register for Northwest College Livestock Judging Camp

2. Intermountain and Beyond the Beartooths May 28-30 in Red Lodge, MT

This is a new combined version of two former camps: Intermountain Training (formerly in Utah) and Beyond the Beartooths (last year in Red Lodge)

I have taken students to the intermountain camp many years and sent students to Red Lodge last year. Both very good. Training will be put on by livestock judging coaches at Linn-Benton College and Auburn University. Poster attached.

Almost every ag. program competes in livestock judging, but I know a lot of us are not the most confident coaches. This is a perfect way to get your students expert training and also learn a bunch yourself!
