MBEA Notes
Greetings Montana CTE professionals!
I’m excited to share that the Montana Business Education Association (MBEA) Executive Board, in collaboration with OPI Business Education Specialist Ethan Igo, has been actively working on a strategic plan to strengthen and grow our organization. Our focus is to increase the number of business and marketing educators who are actively involved in MBEA. We are also working to enhance the value of membership by offering more relevant professional development, better access to resources, and increased opportunities for engagement. We believe that by adding more meaningful benefits and providing greater support, we can ensure that MBEA continues to be a powerful professional home for educators across Montana. Another key priority this year is expanding our social media presence to better connect, inform, and inspire both current and prospective members. If you’re not already following us, please visit and share our page: MBEA Facebook Page. This is shaping up to be a year of exciting growth not just for our organization, but for our incredible members, their students, and the CTSOs they lead. We welcome your input and ideas as we continue to build a stronger, more connected MBEA.

MAAE Notes
Hello Montana ACTE!
As the summer comes to a close I wish all of you an exciting start to the coming school year! MAAE has been working on a few key items this summer that we are looking forward to. We have been actively working with the Montana FFA Foundation to find more creative ways to bring funds to local FFA Chapters. This funding will greatly help our students and offer them more opportunities through our FFA Chapters. As with all of CTE we are in desperate need of teachers to fill program openings. We have been actively recruiting community members to pursue their emergency, or Class IV certifications, as well as finding how to successfully integrate them into the classroom. In other exciting news I am pleased to announce that Millford Wearley of Choteau has been selected as the NAAE Region I Lifetime Achievement award winner, and Justin Heupel of Kalispell has been selected as the NAAE Region I Teacher Mentor award winner, congratulations to them both!
