Hi everyone,

I'm out of the country most of this month and next month. Does anyone
want to run workshops for these months?

Let me know if you need contact details for keys, tips for meetup,
access to the handy guide Steven wrote, or any other assistance I can
give. :)

Hey,

Can you give me a rundown of the workshops we have run this year so far? This might help us to figure out what to do next. Also, are there any new ones that have been developed and used in other countries that might be worth adding to our repertoire?

Cheers,

Lilly (who is also out of the country right now, but will be back in a few weeks)

Hi Lilly,

Good question!

Meetup tells me that our workshops to date have been:

Mar 2014 - Introduction to Data Processing
Feb 2014 - Social Coding with Git
Nov 2013 - HTML & CSS for Beginners
Sep 2013 - Introduction to Programming
Aug 2013 - Social Coding with Git
Jun 2013 - Introduction to Data Processing
May 2013 - Introduction to Programming
Apr 2013 - Basic Websites with Python Flask
Feb 2013 - Introduction to Programming

As for brand new workshops, I actually haven't kept up very
well. Maybe some of the other folks know some good ones?
http://discourse.opentechschool.org could be a good place to check.

Hey all,

I'm back in Australia now, and am (almost) sufficiently unjetlagged to tackle this. At the moment I'm not sure there's any time for us to run something on the one remaining April weekend (and I will be busy), although with my work situation at this point I believe I can take ownership of doing something for the May event, provided I have enough coaches to help me.

It looks as though we haven't run Introduction to Programming for some time - how about this one for May? (I see that PyLadies in Canberra ran a Data Processing workshop remotely, though - cool!) I would also like to keep our eyes open for new workshops if possible.

Cheers,

Lilly
