The Eurisko Melbourne (Nov 2-3) organisers are very keen to have
OpenTechSchool come to Eurisko if possible.

Eurisko Melbourne is very closely related to last year's Melbourne
Mini Maker Faire (some of the same organisers.) They were saying an
Intro to Programming workshop or similar would be perfect!

Unfortunately I will be busy on the Freetronics stall (damn coinciding
activities!) but if anyone is interested, I can put you in touch with
the organisers and give some behind-the-scenes support to run a
workshop there. I think it could be a good opportunity to reach some
new audiences.

Cheers,

Angus

Yep, sure. If you are busy I can take it on.

Cheers,

Might be fun, I'd be happy to help with steven.

Would have to judge how run something useful in 1/2 an hour. Laptops & wireless are also something
our workshops tend to need.

Yes I'm still not sure if we actually have a spot or if it will be too far removed from their usual activities.
