(I can not justify CO2 for just this trip across the atlantic)

Unfortunately not. 

There has been some discussion of a remote option for future conferences, however. It'd be good to make the conference accessible to as many as possible, but it's probably a bridge too far for our first time. Thanks for the feedback, though!
