Dear Kam,
we are interested in Synchronization Modeling again.
We found ONF like modelings in ITU-T G.7721 (e.g. :
It seems that there would be technology specific augmentations to the Clock class at the LTP.
Could you please point me were I could find these technology specific models (in UML and/or YANG)?
Many thanks in advance.
Best regards,

Hi Kam,
many thanks for the details on the current status.
I understood that there will be a YANG module, which is agreed across several SDOs and having a wider range, in future.
Would it nevertheless be possible to get the current “7721”-UML file?
And if yes, where could I find it?
Best regards,
Thorsten

Betreff: RE: Searching for synchronization models
Dear Thorsten,
Sorry for the late response as I have been busy with the ITU-T SG15 plenary meeting these two weeks.
Q14/15 is working on draft G.7721.1, which specifies the YANG data models for synchronization equipment and network management based on the G.7721 UML model. The content of draft G.7721.1 is not stable enough for sharing yet. But Q14/15 will continue its cross-SDO modeling coordination virtual meeting after this SG15 plenary meeting. In the past, experts of OIMT and OTCC were invited to participate in the coordination meetings. If you agree, Q14/15 could extent the invitation to WTP too.
Q14/15 might have an new work item (pending on the approval by the closing plenary meeting on the coming Friday) that is to amendment G.7721 to specify the management requirements and (UML) information model for synchronization of MTN (Metro Transport Network), PRTC/ePRTC, and update the model attributes based on the revision of PTP telecom profiles.
Regards,
Kam
