VOLTHA 2.5 Release Date

Hi all,

Normally we have been doing a code-freeze + branch-out of all voltha components at the end of each quarter (eg. March-end for 2.3 and June-end for 2.4).

We then take 2-3 weeks to go though QA, bug-fixes, and documentation to do the actual release.

But going forward we have been asked by the operators to stick to the quarter-end date for the actual release. The SEBA/VOLTHA TST has agreed to this.

As a result, the code-freeze date for VOLTHA 2.5 release is Sept 10th, in preparation for getting the release out by end-September.

We realize this shortens the dev cycle this quarter and some features may fall out of 2.5
