LLDP for wireless networks

Hi all

I have created a MANET with nodes that have OVS and are connected to an ONOS controller. However, I have encountered an issue with LLDP in multi-hop SDN networks like MANET as LLDP is a single-hop protocol. Can you provide any suggestions on how to solve this problem? Thank you.

Hi Rabia,

According to my opinion LLDP is a link level mean physical level protocol. So how can it have remote neighborship like a L3 protocol BGP? It shouldnt be possible. Any other comment?

When I increase the number of nodes (OVS) to 50 the LLDP app stops working and there is no communication between the nodes as the photo shows. (the network is MANET)
