Community Travel Sponsorships for ONOS Build 2017

As we’ve said from the outset, the aim of ONOS Build 2017 is to bring the ONOS community together under one roof for three days of sharing, learning, aligning, hacking and socialising. We know that Seoul, Korea might not be the easiest destination to travel to for many in the community so we want to make sure we provide as much help as we can to contributors who otherwise wouldn’t be able to travel so far. 

Thanks to the generous support of  ONOS Build 2017 sponsors, we have allocated some budget to provide some travel sponsorships to core ONOS contributors around the world. ONOS Brigades can tap into their operational budget to fund (or partially fund) the travel expenses of their members traveling to Seoul while Ambassadors planning to attend can apply for travel sponsorships by filing a budget request. Last but not least, Ambassadors can also nominate an active ONOS contributor they think should receive full or partial sponsorships to attend the event.
