Final delivery of the Core Info Model ONF TR-512 v1.6

Dear OIMT colleagues,

 

We are pleased to inform you that the ONF TR-512 v1.6 is now publicly available. This can be acquired from the Git repository https://github.com/OpenNetworkingFoundation/CoreInfoModel/releases/tag/TR-512v1.6-final. The release includes the source code of the Papyrus UML model as well as the documentation.

 

As a result of the merger of ONF projects (including OTCC and IISOMI) into the Linux Foundation, the OIMT project will cease operating on 31st January 2024. Therefore, TR-512 v1.6 will be the last update that will be published by the ONF and work on this model will not continue in the Linux Foundation.

 

Considering the close collaboration between ONF and ITU-T Study Group 15 on the evolution of TR-512, the Core Information Model work has transferred to ITU-T and will be continued in the context of ITU-T Recommendation G.7711, which is developed by Q14/15 (https://www.itu.int/net4/ITU-T/lists/q-text.aspx?Group=15&Period=17&QNo=14&Lang=en) of ITU-T Study Group 15.
