I have a question about the comac project I hope this is the right place to ask.
can I use comac project on the edge? for example like a MEC platform

I mean just for termination of user plane data and forward the terminated data to apps that located in the edge.

The right project for this is either Aether or OMEC.  Both support disaggregated UPF functions. OMEC is 4G/LTE and is fully open right now, and Aether builds on this adding 5G and a number of different UPF options (hw and sw based), but Aether is only available to ONF members at this time.
