Setting up Aiab

Hi,

I have a query w.r.t setting up Aiab for testing our ow automation test framework.

Can I use aether as a service (I am assuming this is set up on the cloud) and I should be able to test without needing to install all  the components as needed for Aiab?

Also, I understand that if I have Aiab and the gNB simulator, the complete 5G system would be set up and I can do end to end tests for 5G test cases.

Could you please let us know more about how you plan to use Aether ? That will really help in answering your questions.

A block diagram showing how aether fits in your testing/solution will help our discussion.

Your 2nd question about 5G testing. Yes you can test most of the call flows using gNBSimulator. You can use gNBSimulator

as a standalone tool talking to any other Core Network or You can use gNBSim deployed next to SD-Core.
