cant't save new patients to openmrs

hello am called julius. 

all of a sudden i cant create and save new patients to the openmrs installation. the form displays and i fill it in but can not save. i get this message when i try to save "error while attempting to save patient. what could be wrong???

Do you have access to the server logs? any error stack trace would be helpful.
