Ugandan Implementer's and developer's meetups

Hi there,

Are you working in or a resident of Uganda supporting (as an implementer or a developer) openmrs, here is  a get together for purpose for us.

Yesterday, we met with Wyclif Luyima, Daniel Kayiwa and thought-works team at their offices in Nakawa Kampala and discussed how we can further OpenMRS in our country by getting together university students, implementers and developers meeting in sessions like hackathons, meet-ups et-cetera.

This morning on a phone call from Wyclif, he pointed out some very good point to begin with even before we hold the public meet-up (where we intend to involve as many universities students as possible) that; getting to meet as a team of implementers and developers currently working with openmrs would help us much further our goals, this is a good starting point as i have noted already.

Therefore the aim of this email is to get as many of your contacts as possible basically email addresses and phone numbers so as to discuss when we can meet and share ideas on this.

Please contact either Matthew Ssemakadde or Daniel Kayiwa or Wyclif Luyima or myself (Kaweesi Joseph) to give us your best available contact.

Am inspired by teams such as Kenya EMR and look forward to a time when we have many Ugandan's able to implement and develop for openmrs :-)

I am a regular visitor to Kampala but during weekends mostly (my family lives in Kampala). I will be happy to attend one of your events if they can be held on a weekend and possibly share some of our experiences at FACES.
