I guys

I´m using OpenMRS 1.9.1 and I´m having problems with the period indicator report. I was using Reporting module version 0.7.3.1 and after I add a new dimention, whenever I added a new indicator the system just didn´t show, it appears all blank like if I hadn´t added anything.
I upgraded the version to 0.7.4.1 and then to 0.7.5, after that the system accepted the dimentions and indicators, but when I run in preview it always gives me an error. Find it in the att.

Can you guys help me with that?

Hi Agnalda,

In order to receive help from the implementers, you'll need to provide some more information. I think you meant to attach a screenshot to this message? Over and above the screenshot, you'll have to attach the stack trace that gets printed.

Based on our earlier discussion, I have a suspicion that the problem is the same as this one: http://listarchives.openmrs.org/Reporting-Module-doesn-t-include-Indicator-Web-Report-td7260289.html

Can you confirm whether or not the fixes that James tried (suggested by Mike) resolve your issue?

Regards,
Pascal

Hi Agnalda,

I’ve seen that error before.  When I ran into it, it was because my user session had timed out.  Logging in again and retrying worked.

As a diagnosing step, I would try to create a new cohort indicator, and then add it to a new period indicator report.  If that works, perhaps one of the report elements didn’t get “upgraded” properly or became corrupted somehow between versions.

Thanks,

James

Hi James

I´ve tried everything you said, before but unfortunately that´s not the case.
I don´t know if there´s anything with the versions that I´m using. I´m using Tomcat 6.0.35 and Java 1.6 update 24.

Hi Guys

In one of my machines, I made a downgrade from java 1.7 u11 to 1.6 u35 and now the system accepts to save the dimensions and indicators but 2 errors appears: UnexpectedRollbackException when I try to Preview and NullPointerException when I try to run the report.
I found out that in one of my dimension (diagnosis) was missing 1 definition.
I found out too, that my dimension age was causing an error because the cohorts that constitutes this dimension was requiring an effective date (that was not needed). I removed the effective date and the age dimension was working fine. The indicator report was also running.
But, when I added the missing definition (which is a coded obs cohort), suddenly an unexpected error occurred and  I can´t run any other report now. I tried to downgrade the reporting module from 0.7.5 to 0.7.4.1 and even to 0.7.3.1 but the error continues.

After adding the new definition into the diagnosis dimension the dimension ran normal.

The errors are appearing in cohorts that I didn´t even changed.
´new prob.jpg´ - error appearing in the list of my reports. The error is appearing in a report that was running normally
´new prob2.jpg´ - error in a cohort that was running normally (the cohort that I created to be the new definition just disappeared, but the dimension is working)
´error1.jpg´ - error when executing any report

Hope you guys understand it, if not I will be glad to clarify
