dhis reporting module hisp india, SDMX HD format

Hi,

I am trying to get connection with dhis with openmrs using the hisp india dhis reporting module. I have already created the data elements i need to query from dhis in openmrs, and the element aggregates in dhis. I have created html form per patient to get his data in openmrs. what is the file i should upload in the dhis reporting module to the report definition file option in openmrs?.

Do i need to upload a report generated in the SDMX HD standard? Could someone please tell me how to get this report generated? in DHIS there is no facility that i could observe to get the report generated. Do i need to generate this report manually?

Hi Awanth

You can get the report definition you need from the dhis server using any client which can make restful sort of requests.  For example, if you were using curl:

curl -u user:password -H "Accept: application/dsd+xml" http://apps.dhis2.org/dev/api/dataSets > reportDefinitions.xml

Obviously replacing username, password and url with your own.  Then you can import that file through your openmrs module and start configuring.  This piece of functionality should be added to the UI of the module itself, but for the moment that is the way it is.  At least its not something you do very often.

Please if you're currently using (Pharmacy Inventory Module & DHIS - OpenMRS Reporting Module) that is compatible with OpenMRS version 1.8.3 or any version can you kindly share with me, because we're moving to phase two of our implementation and to come-up with the module might take longer than expected. kindly respond if you do thanks in advance. (Nigeria EMR)

Even I searched for a pharmacy module for quite some time,  I even tried with this module

 but it failed to build.I have posted it in the mailing list but no one replied. if you come across anything that you could use or build this module share it with me too..
