Hello every one...

How I can import the ICD-10 code?. I thought adding the code one by one, but is endless. Is there an easier way?

Thank you..!

Best regards,

Darwin Morales.

Bump!  I am considering using the PIH concept dictionary, and have run into this issue as well.  Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks,

Nick

Use the CIEL dictionary

It would be better if you post the second issue you are facing in an exact format to get speedy response

Good luck

Hi Judy,

Sorry if I wasn't being clear.  Ideally, I would like to use the PIH dictionary rather than the CIEL dictionary.  I was wondering if there is a means of importing ICD-10 concept mappings to the dictionary.

Thanks,

Nick

There is is no automated mechanism to add ICD-10 mappings to the PIH concept dictionary.

Jenn Parise, a summer of code student this year, has created a module that will let you download a spreadsheet of which of your concepts are missing mappings, then you'd manually put in the ICD-10 codes and re-upload it. Is this what you're looking for?

Yes, that would be perfect! What is the module?

Hi Nick,

This is a bleeding-edge module, and to install it you actually need to be running the upcoming OpenMRS Reference Application. If your target is to run on OpenMRS 1.9.x, then I imagine you can load your current concept dictionary into the reference application, use this tool, and then export it back out to be used in your "regular" 1.9.x installation. Is that feasible for you?

I doubt that Jenn is on the implementers mailing list, so you should reach out to her at je...@openmrs.org about the module.
