Can't import openmrs-core into eclipse workspace

I've forked the openmrs-core, cloned the repo, and am trying to import the project into the Eclipse workspace.

So I use "Import Projects from Git," then select "Existing Local Repository."

I add the openmrs-core project, then "Import existing projects."

On the next "Import Projects" screen is says, "No projects found."

I'm using the latest Eclipse Kepler.

Hi David, you can also import openmrs-core as maven project, this works better then after you can share the project as given in the https://wiki.openmrs.org/display/docs/Step+by+Step+Installation+for+Developers and https://wiki.openmrs.org/display/docs/Using+Git pages

Hi David, You have to import the project as maven project. For having that option in eclipse first download

Eclipse , Most preferably
  Eclipse IDE for Java EE Developers,

After that install following plugin watching this two OpenMRS University videos

Installing OpenMRS as a Core Developer - Part 1

Installing OpenMRS as a Core Developer - Part 2

Most of the plugin package are already installed in Java EE developer  Edition. So you dont have to worry about that much. Like Maven, Git etc.

So you just no need for watching above video for that purpose. Still for clarification you must watch.

After that import the project as maven project, in this video you have an example how to import maven projects in eclipse-
